The Director General of the Lagos State Law Enforcement Training Institute-LETI, Prince Ifalade Oyekan has called on all stakeholders to collaborate and cooporate toward the attainment of the greater Lagos vision of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
While speaking at a working visit to the office of the Director General of the Lagos State Building Control (LASBCA) recently, Ifalade thanked the Governor on the appointment of Mr. Gbolahan Oki as the Director General of LASBCA, describing the appointment as fitting another hole with the right peg.
At the visit he called on all stakeholders to key into the vision of LETI which is to ensure seamless cooperation in the task of ensuring a smart megacity with all the trappings of one.
He said "the Governor has cleared the path and we can only do our part by ensuring a seamless safety and security network in the State."
Prince Oyekan said the Lagos State Law Enforcement Training Institute- LETI is living up to the THEMES Agenda of the Governor through the introduction of modern technologies in the operation of Law Enforcement operatives.
Mr. Oki on his part thanked the Team, while commending the new management for the introduction of new technologies to Law Enforcement in the state, while he also promised to raise the bar for his Agency.
He further promised to collaborate with LETI towards ensuring the provision of training opportunities for his officers to be deployed, especially in the use of the Body Worn Camera recently introduced by LETI.
Ifalade concluded by thanking the Director General of the LASBCA for the hospitality and vowed to always make LETI Facilities available toward attainting the dream of the DG in complying to the vision of the governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
In a related development, Prince Oyekan and his Team met with the of the Lagos State Chief Resilience Officer Dr. Folayinka Dania to congrarulate her and also seek her collaboration and cooperation with LETI in her visions.
He said, LETI is poised to produce resilient modern Law Enforcement Officers in the Lagos State security and safety matrix of the State.
The Chief Resilience Officer thanked the Team for the visit while also promising to do everything possible to ensure the attainment of the LETI vision.
