In continuation of the new rule at the Lagos State Law Enforcement Training Institute- LETI, the Management conducted a screening exercise for intending instructors for the 2021 In-house training programme.
The oral examination which was held at the premises of the Institute was completed on the first day, while the practical session is slated for later.
At the completion of the first phase of the exercise, the Head of LETI, Prince Ifalade Oyekan who was an observer described the process as transparent and open.
In his words, "the exercise, the first of its kind in the history of the Institute was both transparent and open as participants were questioned in the various areas of the trade".
Ifalade said the exercise was organised in conformity with the THEMES Agenda of the Governor of Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu which places emphasis on professionalism and competence.
"I am satisfied with the exercise and expect the second phase to go the same way. Our Team comprising of the Regimental and Academic Units of the Institute were both thorough and transparent."
The second phase of the exercise will be conducted on a later date.
