The Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) Dr Abdurrazaq Balogun, has pledged to support the Lagos State Law Enforcement Training Institute (LETI), to enable the institute deliver on its mandate to produce well-trained officers
Dr Abdurrazaq Balogun made the pledge during a courtesy visit to LETI on Wednesday.
He said the LSSTF was an intervention agency saddled with the responsibility of supporting all security matters in the state. He, therefore, said it was pertinent to support and collaborate with LETI in ways that will improve the activities of the institute and quality of the training.
He commended the innovative ideas the management of LETI was introducing in order to meet the 21st century security needs.
While addressing some law enforcement officers undergoing training at the institute, Balogun urged them to imbibe the training received and carry out their duties with all sense of responsibility, in-spite of the current challenges.
Responding, the Head of LETI, Prince Ifalade Oyekan thanked LSSTF for honoring his invitation and extending their support in ensuring the institute fulfill its mandate of repositioning law enforcement in the state.
