The KAI Marshal of the Kick Against Indiscipline, CP Gbemisola Akinpelu (Rtd), has pledged to work in synergy with the Lagos State Law Enforcement Training Institute (LETI) to reorientate and retrain her officers to meet up with the expectations of the job and actualization of the Lagos State Government THEMES Agenda.
The KAI Marshal made the pledge during a courtesy visit to LETI office with her team, stressing how important it was for KAI officers to receive rigorous training for reorientation, mindset change and revamping of the agency as a whole.
While addressing some of the officers participating in the mandatory In-Service training at the institute, Akinpelu advised them to be committed and take the training seriously in order to enhance their operations and distinguish themselves on the field.
Responding, Head of LETI, Prince Ifalade Oyekan expressed readiness to work with KAI to devise new ways to improve their operations and move the agency and the institute to a higher level worthy of recognition.
He also expressed gratitude to Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his overwhelming support and encouragement toward making the institute fulfill its mandate of repositioning law enforcement in the state.
